Dr.  Martin Seligman Psychology professor in Pennsylvania University experimented on helplessness using dogs.  He put a dog in a small box which the dog could not move around freely and he gave electric shock to the dog.  Of course  the dog at 1st tried to avoid the electric shock.

Exactly a year ago at the December rank test I introduced two beautiful stories. Today I would like to remind you of these two stories again. The 1st story was about LaGuardia’s unique verdict. LaGuardia was the 99th mayor of New York City, he was consecutively elected as Mayor 3 times between 1933 and 1945.

In the animal world the stronger animals with toughness will always attack weaker animals for their prey, however you already know these strong animals such as lions, tigers, and cheetahs hunt easy prey that are slow, weak, or injured. In 1859 Charles Darwin conveyed the theory of “The Survival of the Fittest”.

I am 78 years old. However, the 1st 19 years I did not understand what my father had tried to teach me. But after I went into college I began to understand. Since then I would always get up at 4:00am in the morning for daybreak KI class with meditation.

Kathy, a green belt was my Hapkido student a few years ago. She was 21 years old. Her tuition was a couple weeks past due. One evening she came into my office and said, Master Chang I will pay my tuition a week later after I come back from my ski trip for 5 days in Colorado.
